The Men are four piece fuzzy, noise punk group from Brooklyn, NY. The name of there album appears to be sort of an homage to The Ramones Leave Home. If that’s not ballsy enough, the first track on this album is over seven minutes long. However, The Men aren’t trying too hard, in fact, they’re trying just right.
The album never really commits to the in your face tempo of a punk joint, nor does it commit to going all out on meandering psychedelic guitar riffs. By playing to the strengths of two great noises, they create a sound all there own.
If The Strokes made this album as there follow up to Is This It, people would be quitting there day jobs to form a traveling cult like society.
